Edible Moss/Grass for Cakes

Make a showstopper cake with realistic and edible moss. You only need a few ingredients to make the perfect centrepiece for your special occasion cake.
Ingredients:
• 20g flour
• 30g sugar
• 1 egg
• 5ml sunflower oil
• 1 tsp baking powder
• food colouring
• 3 paper cups
Start mixing the sugar with egg at high speed until smooth and creamy.

2. Gently fold the flour and baking powder with a spatula, after sifting them together.

3. Incorporate the sunflower oil with the same spatula, trying to lose as little air as possible.
4. Add the powder food colouring.

5. Put the mixture in paper cups and bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius.

6. Turn the cups upside down and leave to cool completely. You can store the moss in the fridge, in an air tight container for up to 3 days.
